General Information
The official application deadline for 2012-13 is March 30, 2012. A late application will be considered if space is available and is subject to a late fee. For applications after June 15, the school should be emailed to confirm receipt and the acceptance decision may not occur until late August.
Senior Kindergarten is only offered Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and is provided only if there is sufficient enrollment.
Families considering St. Timothy’s are encouraged to contact the school to arrange a visit.
Parents must indicate their agreement with the Faith and Basis of St. Timothy’s Classical Academy and A Classical and Christian Approach to Media before their children can be accepted.
Volunteering
All families are expected to contribute to the volunteer effort that is required to operate the school and volunteer at least 40 hours per year, averaging one hour per school week. This can be in a variety of capacities such as classroom volunteering, lunch supervision, newsletter, and fundraising activities.
After-school care
St. Timothy’s recognizes that for certain families, after-school care is necessary in order for their children to attend St. Timothy’s. Other families at the school often provide such care, but if there is sufficient need, care can be organized at the school as a collaborative effort between those families requesting care and the rest of the school community. There would be no cost for the care unless it became necessary to pay someone to provide care, in which case the cost would be shared by those families who use the care except families also on tuition assistance. The amount would be proportionate to the amount of care use, with payment required at the end of each term (January and June).
