Gerard Torenvliet – President
Gerard Torenvliet is an Ottawa native who received an education at independent Christian elementary and high schools prior to receiving a B.A.Sc. (Industrial Engineering) and an M.A.Sc. (Mechanical and Industrial Engineering), both from the University of Toronto. He works for an aerospace research consultancy in Ottawa. He and his wife Deborah have four children and attend the Canadian Reformed Church of Ottawa.
Brian Dijkema – Director of Development
Brian Dijkema was born and raised just south of Ottawa and was educated at an independent Christian elementary school and a public high school. He and his wife Nicole recently moved back to Eastern Ontario after spending nearly a decade studying and working in Hamilton. He studied politics and political theory at Redeemer University College and the Institute for Christian Studies in Toronto. He and Nicole have a growing family and attend St. George's Anglican Church.
Richard Musca – Secretary
Richard Musca grew up in the Ottawa area and received a BASc in Electrical Engineering at the University of Ottawa. He has worked in software design for various Ottawa high technology firms and is currently at home full time with his children. He and his wife MyTu have two children, both of whom are attending St. Timothy's. They attend Calvary Baptist Church.
Jonathan Patrick – Parent Liaison and Treasurer
Jonathan Patrick was born in Jamaica of British parents but lived in Ottawa from the time he was six. He spent some time in Africa as a teenager before heading off to university where he spent 11 years - eventually earning a PhD in applied mathematics from UBC's business school. He and his wife, Jennifer, moved back to Ottawa in the summer of 2007 to be closer to family but also so that their kids could go to St. Timothy's! They have four young boys and attend St. George's Anglican church.
Andrew Bennett – Development
Andrew Bennett was born and raised in Toronto where he attended an independent school in the Anglican tradition. He moved to Ottawa in 2001 following the completion of his PhD in political science at the University of Edinburgh. Andrew works for Export Development Canada and is currently on a leave of absence to study theology full-time at the Metropolitan Andrey Sheptytsky Institute of Eastern Christian Studies at St. Paul University. He attends St. John the Baptist Ukrainian-Catholic Church in Ottawa.
Tim Kennedy – Past President
Tim Kennedy grew up in Toronto and was educated at Upper Canada College, McGill University and the University of Toronto. He works for a communications and policy development firm in Ottawa. He and his wife Nicola have seven children and attend St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Ottawa
